For the Stanford Savoyards
April–May 2016

Don Giovanni is a famous Mozart opera, produced by the Stanford Savoyards in conjunction with Stanford Arts. In addition to creating the publicity materials for the show, I helped Joshua Spayd with their own initiative to create a website that could provide information to ticket-buyers and also provide supertitles and story information to show goers. Josh did a fantastic job; the site is up at walkdg.com and is super cool.

The website features links to Savoyards social media, news and information about the show, as well as some great promotional photography by Mia Farinelli and Hector Garcia-Molina. The site takes visual cues from the poster, presenting the information show-goers and ticket-buyers needed first. Alegreya was chosen as the main font for its reference of calligraphic forms in an easy-to-read serif style, complete with beautiful italics.
